Professional  Skills

What is this service?

Our Professional Skills Assessment and Development service is designed to evaluate and enhance the cognitive and emotional skills essential for success in the workplace. We focus on critical skills such as working memory, verbal abilities, executive functioning, and multitasking, which are crucial for various professional roles.

Our approach is structured and thorough:

  1. Position Profile Creation: Our HR and Business Analysis experts work together to develop a detailed profile of the skills required for a specific job position. This ensures that all necessary competencies are identified and understood.

  2. Skills Assessment: We assess an individual’s cognitive and emotional skills against the profile. This assessment helps determine if there are any gaps that could be hindering performance in the desired role.

  3. Skills Development: If any areas are identified as needing improvement, we offer tailored programs to enhance those skills, increasing the individual’s chances of success in their current job or when seeking new opportunities.

Our service can be applied in several ways:

  • Personal Development: Individuals can use our assessment to identify and improve specific skills, making them more competitive for job positions or better equipped to succeed in their current roles.

  • Corporate Recruitment: Companies can integrate our assessments into their interview process to identify candidates whose skills best match the job requirements, streamlining the hiring process and ensuring the right fit for the position.

  • Corporate Social Responsibility: Organizations can use our services to support the professional development of their team members by addressing and strengthening any skill gaps, promoting a more capable and well-rounded workforce.

Our goal is to help individuals and organizations achieve their full potential by ensuring the right skills are in place for professional success.

Practical examples

Maria P., A nurse in a private hospital

Maria referred to our center in order to schedule an evaluation to support her application for a nurse in the intensive care unit of a private hospital. In accordance with the requirements of her job position, Maria was examined in the domains of short-term memory, multitasking, divided attention, reaction speed, and Theory of Mind (the ability to get into the other person’s position). Maria included the neuropsychological assessment report in her application as a supportive document.

Konstantinos H., Owner of a large enterprise

Konstantinos owns a large advertising company and wants to hire a new creative design officer. Konstantinos consulted our center for the final examination of two candidates from whom he had difficulty choosing. In accordance with the requirements of the job position, the two candidates (after receiving their informed consent) were evaluated with respect to their spontaneity, creativity and critical thinking, teamwork, and work under pressure. Their reports were sent to Konstantinos to decide which candidate had the combination of skills that was most appropriate for the position he was offering.

Elena F., Owner of a retail business

Elena owns an retail shop with electronics and has been collaborating with Petros, a sales manager, for many years. Petros is an excellent employee, willing and quick but has a relative disadvantage in social skills and critical thinking. Elena referred to our center to assist Petros in improving his abilities and become even more effective in his work. After giving his informed consent, Petros followed an intensive three-month skills training programme.
